Can you expedite custom orders?

Custom orders are all made to order and to the specifications of the customer. I work hard to finish commissions in a timely manner without sacrificing quality, so unfortunately, custom orders cannot be ‘rushed’. Most of my custom orders can be completed within 1 week, but if there is a queue, the time can be extended beyond that.
If you are concerned about the turnaround time and ordering a custom commission, please contact me about the current timeline for completion before placing an order.
 

can you gift wrap or add messages?

All paintings are packaged carefully in cotton-packed, sturdy brown Kraft boxes, and the painting wrapped lightly in tissue paper to protect the canvas surface. No receipts or invoices are included, just a business card. The box itself and a wrapped easel is shipped together in a plain white poly mailer. They arrive neat and professional, so gift wrapping is rarely required and thus not offered.
I will gladly included a gift message in the box with the painting. A prompt for gift messages will be made during the Checkout phase.

do you replicate paintings?

One of the draws of the Itty Bitty Painting Collection is the fact that no painting is ever duplicated again on another canvas. Each painting is unique and one of a kind, making it a special, collectible piece. If you would like me to revisit a theme that has already been painted, understand that it will be done in a manner that will not be a direct copy of that theme so you will have your very own one of a kind painting!
 

Can i reprint your design or resell the art?

All art done by the artist is the property of the artist alone. You may show or display the art with credit given. Raffles/bidding/giveaways in which profits are made for a charity event is allowed. If rights are desired for resale, a contract and terms must be agreed upon with the artist before that is done.
 

dO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS/cancellations or ISSUE REFUNDS?

Returns on items are accepted under certain conditions and made on a case by case basis.
* Please message me with your request and/or questions before assuming a Return/Refund will be approved.
* Please understand highly customized paintings may not be offered a refund/return (such as paintings with names or very specific details only you would want, and most customized Pet Portraits). If I can’t easily re-sell it, I will not approve a Return/Refund on it.

1) Return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase. Cancellations within 24 hours.
2) Item must not be damaged or defective. Pictures will be requested or no return will be approved. Damages incurred by shipping are not the responsibility of the artist, and claims for that must be taken up with the shipping carrier. Insurance can be purchased as an Add-On if desired, and is offered at Check Out.
3) Buyer pays return shipping, OR return shipping costs will be deducted from the Refunded Amount which will only be given after the ittem arrives safely back in the artist’s possession.

what is you process for painting?

Every painting is started on a blank, gallery wrapped canvas. I use no stencils, all references are studied and designs are hand sketched out on the canvas, free-style, if needed.
I only used water based, acrylic paints for all my paintings. No markers, pens, or other types of paints are used.
Each painting is sealed for protection with a glossy, archival, UV and water resistant, aerosol spray and left to dry for at least 24 hours. This makes the painting’s colors vibrant and rich, helps prevent yellowing of the canvas or drying out of the paint, and resists normal water spray on the surface.
This sealant does NOT withstand heavy submersion in water, very high heat, or some non-water liquids (such as oils… especially cinnamon oil. We’ve learned the hard way from that one.)
